Bramley was brought on quietly over 2024, backed and ridden away solely by a 9yo girl. Over winter he has done lots of Pony Club, a few days hunting and a couple of low key competitions.

His main attribute is his honesty and willingness, he really does not know how to say no - improves every single time you take him out. Jumping courses of 60cm easily, has jumped some bigger natural obstacles XC/hunting.

Hunting he stands at the meet but can get a bit fidgety standing otherwise, lovely when you are going. Although obviously still learning he has been exposed to lots of situations and is a pretty safe conveyance. We see him flourishing in a big family, ridden mainly by gutsy younger child and occasionally brought on by a more established rider. He has seen all mounted games equipment and not batted an eyelid.

Generally nice and easy to handle but does have a very bolshy streak (reacts well to kindness, consistency and firmness), will only be sold to experienced parents.

Fully vaccinated, worm counted and dental to date. Barefoot. No vices. Open to vetting. Dartmoor Hill Pony on a basic passport.

Bramley does have very mild sweet itch, kept clipped and rugged he is pretty low maintenance (spray every other day).

He comes with his sweetitch rug, turnout rug, bridle and Thorowgood PC saddle.

Very sad sale, but with silly season approaching we will have less and less time for him and he deserves to be someones Number 1.

Heartbreaking sale of a true child’s pony due to being hopelessly outgrown. True to type Dartmoor who excels in showing but is equally a wonderful allrounder.

Showing: Many wins and championships as a LR, FR, junior M&M and open small breeds. Previously qualified and placed at RIHS and HOYs. Previously professionally produced and now home produced. Sits beautifully on the lead with the tiniest of jockeys. Has taken his current jockey off the lead rein and in to open small breeds classes over the past 3 years. He needs very little working in, no calmers or ear plugs. Behaves in the most electric atmosphere. Qualified for stars and just out of placing in FR M&M last year. He can tootle along calmly and quietly with the most nervous/just off the lead jockey but then with a bigger/more confident jockey he is a real showman with beautiful movement. Rossi has also been shown by small adults previously. We think he would be an amazing veteran contender.

Hacking: frequently hacks, will go first or last, never gets hot or jogs. Hacks on roads with traffic/tractors/farm machinery without concern and enjoys farm rides/country park hacks. Will lead from another horse.

Jumping: Rossi is new to jumping and sometimes lacks confidence. However, after only a few months he has come on incredibly and is now jumping up to 80 cm confidently with scope. He makes a beautiful shape over a jump and has a lovely rhythm and with a competent and confident jockey really would be an incredible workers pony. He really seems to enjoy his jumping now and has been frequently going out to pole and jumping clinics and arena hires.

No previous laminitis known, never been sick or sorry. Has mild sweet itch which is controlled with the right rugs (his sweet itch rugs are available with him).

Rossi is wonderful to handle. Everything is done by children. He loves to be pampered and will stand all day. Loads and travels in trailer or box, travels alone and in company, will stand happily on the box all day at shows without us worrying about him. Great for farrier (shod 2 in front), to clip, bath and for teeth/vet. Turns out alone or in company happily. Currently stabled with regular turnout, happily out overnight/for longer periods in the summer.

Rossi is a much loved member of the family and finding him a wonderful new home is really important to us.

Moseley Red Admiral ( aka Paddy)

Extremely ( premature) sad sale of the most beautiful pony.
Paddy is the easiest pony to own and had the friendliest, happiest outlook on life, with a laid back temperament.
We have sadly only owned Paddy since October after bringing him home after his Hoys appearance.

We have done two novice first ridden shows where he has proved what a star he to step down from junior/open classes and then look after my daughter in her first novice affiliated class at heritage champs.
The next day he stepped back up to do his London qualifier. Where he stood 6th in a very strong class of 17
Paddy also qualified for london 2023

We then gave Paddy a well deserved break from the ring and has just been hacked out. He is a very saintly hack and my daughter takes him out alone. He will have a blast across the stubble if she asks or equally plod along on the buckle.
He is the easiest pony in every way.

My daughter has decided show jumping is her thing and is out most weekends competing.
Whilst Paddy wouldn't mind being a family pony just hacking. We feel he will be wasted and he's far too lovely to be second best.

We have recently taken him out to her first junior show where she took section champ.
Paddy has no experience in fyfr and we feel he's best suited to an established rider.

We are hoping we can find a long term home for Paddy as he deserves this.

We are looking for the next Pony to join our family to take part in all things Pony club, Local SJ shows (max 50) , Showing, lots of hacking and horsey days out….we also do an annual long weekend to the beach with the horses.

The Pony would be cared for by myself on a small private yard near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (currently stabled at night)

I hack regularly with my two children so a Pony that is safe cantering in open spaces and being handled by children.

My daughter’s current golden oldie has helped her ride independently for over a year but is now struggling to keep up with her.

Please no youngsters/green or project ponies.
