Murray is an absolute pleasure to have on the yard easy to do anything with and loves attention.

He is hacked out by our 14 year old daughter either alone or in company.

He has lived a varied life which has included beach rides, XC, showing jumping and showing. His showing career has been very successful and his now ready to go out and do the veteran classes.

Murray is a forward ride who i think would suit a small adult or teenager he would be so much fun for someone and is currently being wasted with us having too many ponies.

I am searching for my next ridden show pony, I am very specific about what I am looking for.

Ideally a large breed native but I would consider a Traditional, native coloured or a coloured 15hh SHP.

Mare or gelding, 4 years plus, 13.2 -15hh (but within breed height restrictions)

The perfect pony will have a proven CV at HOYS / RI level but I will consider an outstanding novice with some mileage, must enjoy hacking and be good with all traffic. A bonus if has also done some dressage

Things I like:
- A good front and length of rein
- A neat head with a kind eye
- A pony with good manners that enjoys attention
- A forward, light, supple and snaffle mouthed ride
- A pony that enjoys hacking alone or in company
- A pony that moves nicely off the leg and responds to the seat

Things I don’t like:
- Stable vices
- Bad manners on the ground
- Not standing at the mounting block
- Overly spooky ponies
- Dishing
- Anything that needs lunging before riding or can’t be given a day off
- Anything that has been ridden in draw reins or a bungee
- Anything that needs carrying round the ring or is lazy

What I can offer:

Winnie - Unregistered Welsh X, 13.3hh, rising 5 year old mare

Winnie has been with me since she was 2 and is only for sale as she hasn’t made the expected height and is wasted in the field.

She has been professionally backed and introduced into work slowly and is low mileage.

She is very green in the school and needs a confident little rider to teach her about life.

Absolutely no novices as she can be sassy and needs a job to do.

She is good to hack, good with traffic, cyclists and has been over motorway bridges etc. She will go first or last.

She has been hacked frequently by my novice 13 year old niece and enjoyed group canters and a beach ride.

She would make a great mother / daughter share for fun rides / hacks etc or equally she would step up with the right schooling as a speedy competition pony as she is flashy and moves nicely. She has popped a small cross pole and was very keen but we’ve not done anymore then that due to her age.

She can be whizzy but nothing nasty and will respect a decent rider.

On the ground she is a typical Welsh. She can be bolshy and opinionated. She likes to be left alone when eating and can pull the odd face. I would describe her as a typical mare. That being said she is affectionate and likes a fuss, first one over to you in the field etc.

She is brilliant in the field and will stand in the field all day on her own, happily munching her hay and grass. She is not bothered if you take her field mate away.

Good for the farrier (she is barefoot), dentist, vet and has been a dream to clip for her first few times. She travels well and has been out in the trailer for hacks a number of times.

Used to farm machinery and a busy atmosphere.

Up to date with vaccinations, farrier, dentist and physio etc.

She is kept at home and has not been in work for the last 6 weeks as we only have a field arena which is wet at the moment - for this reason she is sold from the field - based in South East, 10 minutes from Gatwick Airport

Full wardrobe available by separate negotiation.

5 star home wanted, it has taken a long time to come to this decision and she will only go to the very best of homes which will be vetted.

Fleur has some of the most amazing paces we’ve seen in a pony in a long time! She also has the jump and scope to match. She has all the attributes to go all the way. Whilst relatively new to jumping she happily jumps courses of 80cm, has taken part in arena eventing, schooled over xc fences. Fleur is a strong contender for M&M WH showing. Competed BD up to novice with 30 BD points, BD youth, showing, arena eventing and working hunter. Has taken M&M championship in hand and under saddle,

She’s not hot or silly to jump, really lets you get the leg to her.

We would like to find a confident/experienced teenager or small adult for Fleur, she has all the talent in the world but needs a confident jockey as she can be spooky to hack. Very quiet and easy in the arena. Travels well, loads perfectly.

Ruben is a true old fashioned stamp of a Welsh sec C with good bone his been home produced by myself. I only lightly shown him last year and he gained his open HOYS ticket on his 4th attempt.

Ruben hacks out alone or in company Iv taken him on fun rides and started arena eventing after hoys jumping 60-70cm but still is green would would make a top 133 worker with the right person to educate him he has been jumping water trays and brush fences ect.

He doesn’t need a lot of working in his not strong you need more leg, his been ridden by my friends 14yrs daughter that took him out in some junior classes last year where he won and went res.champion

Ruben is a lovely pony and is very versatile whether you want to do hoys flats, workers juniors or just want a pony to have fun
