Super 14.2 coloured 7 year old competition pony for sale, looking for a new home after two and a half years with us.
Has done all Pony Club activities, cross country, showjumping and dressage .Team jumping and cross-country. Would be suitable as a second pony, needs experienced and confident rider who wants to compete and go out and have fun and also go on long hacks in the countryside. Current riders adore him and will miss him dearly. He is ridden by 2 teenagers who regularly take him to local shows and events and clinics and also a small adult who enjoys going on long distance hacks and doing a bit of schooling on him.

Hacks out alone or in company and doesn’t hot up in a group, perfect gentleman on the ground.
Good in traffic, good to clip, good to shoe, good to groom and bath. Good to travel . He would suit mother/daughter /son share , currently has been mother/daughter share, mum can hack and child can do pc activities. Has attended all PC rallies and camps .

Up to date with flu n tet, shoes, worming and physio/sports massage,saddle fitting etc .

Description:

Meet Carlos, a 12-year-old 14.2hh Welsh x Warmblood gelding, the perfect partner for an experienced teenager or petite adult seeking a versatile and honest all-rounder.

Flatwork:
Carlos has three correct paces and a natural head carriage. He performs flying changes and leg yields effortlessly.

Showjumping:
He excels against the clock without requiring excessive urging. While we've competed up to 90cm in unaffiliated classes, he has the scope to progress further, having schooled over single fences up to 1.20m. He shows great potential.

Cross Country:
An absolute machine on the cross-country course, Carlos tackles 90cm combinations with ease. He's unfazed by water, ditches, steps, and jumps into water. He completed the Bignell Hunter Trial with a clear round, just outside the placings.

Hacking:
Carlos is a reliable hacking companion, confident in traffic and accustomed to routes over and alongside motorways. He relishes a good canter across fields and, while keen, remains manageable. He's experienced solo and group hacks, beach rides including dips in the sea, all in a snaffle bit.

On the Ground:
A sweetheart in the stable, Carlos is affectionate and gentle. He's easy to handle for grooming, tacking up, and picking out feet. He enjoys baths, stands patiently for clipping (having been a model for a first-time clipper), and usually loads well, travels happily.

Achievements:
Carlos has numerous placings at 80cm and 90cm in showjumping, hunter trials, and arena eventing over the past year.
Ideal Home:

Carlos seeks a loving, home with a confident rider. He is a sporty pony and not suitable for novices or nervous jockeys. but he would make a super all rounder. This is a heartfelt sale due to new horse and academic commitments.

Ruby has been educated in the last 12-18 months with established changes and significant experience of other disciplines, so would make an ideal Pony Club/NSEA/Leisure pony. She is fit and ready to go for her next jockey.

Registered Connemara mare. Rising 9.

We have had Breeze for just over 4 years. We bought her a a recently backed 4 year old for our then 11 year old daughter.

She has attended many PC Rallies, Camps, Dressage and SJ competitions (happiest up to about 70cm but can jump higher), unaffiliated Working Hunter classes where she has won style and performance classes, Novice showing class at Royal Cheshire County Show, farm rides and even Pony Racing training at Aintree. She takes it all in her stride.

My daughter regularly hacks her out by herself and has done pretty much since we bought her. This includes road work, bridleways and the beach.

She is snaffle mouthed.

She is up to date with vaccinations, dentist etc and is barefoot as she has excellent hooves. She was shod when we bought her but our farrier has not considered this necessary.
She is N/HWSD but this is only as issue if she is to be bred.

She is good for the dentist and to clip. My daughter clips her herself.


She loads OK. We have a trailer but she has also been boxed.

We live on a working farm so she is used to farm machinery and tractors, and cows, living out quite happily with them on occasions!

She is very sadly looking for a new home as my daughter has outgrown her.

We love her to bits and would wish to stay in touch. Five * home wanted.

Absolutely super pony, v easy to handle and manage and has brought my daughter from jumping 70/80 to 110 fox / Newcomer 2nd rounds and qualified for Royal Highland Show Liz Fox JC Championship for last two years (still JC)! Winning up to 110, Scottish Schools Champion 105 2023 and also winning BS Academy Teams 90cm

Will be a very sad sale, having owned the pony for over 3 years but my daughter is just too big for her now, Rosie is a real confidence booster that will always look out for the rider and “save the day” if any strides are wrong etc!

Quick pony in the arena with fab jump off turns especially up to 105cm!

Scope for FEI measure to 138 (she would be an awesome 138 if this is a route you want to consider!) or keep as 143 on LHC - can discuss further if you wish.

Rosie is an absolute sweetheart and yard owners favourite! Easy to clip, load, will happily stand in trailer or lorry on own or with another pony, travels well, great for farrier etc No health issues.

Fab to hack (our yard is beside busy road and we need to cross to get to paths), beach rides, X Country and great fun overall, will turn her hand to any discipline!

Only vice… she doesn’t like forward facing trailers, but travels a dream on rear facing trailers / 3.5 or sideways in 7.5t.

Lovely pony with expressive paces, hacks alone and in company. Schools very nicely and loves to jump, still a bit green but very honest.

Has been out to shows, hunted, easy to do. Would suit teenager or small adult looking for a fun pony to do a bit of everything, could excel in any sphere- would do very well M&M WHP.

Not a novice ride as he is very Welsh (can get a bit strong but never bolts/rears etc).
