Beautiful 2012 part bred Appaloosa mare standing at a full up 14.3. Lady is a happy hacker’s absolute dream, she’s just lovely to take out and about, she will hack on the buckle in the biggest, fastest and heaviest of traffic, doesn’t care or ride any differently if she is alone or in company, she’s so ideal for someone wanting a beautiful horse with a lovely attitude to hack out through the countryside.

She is a kind and sweet girl on the ground. She’s very easy to have around with no vices quirks or hang ups.

She’s mainly been used as a low-level all round her throughout her life and has done a little bit of everything she has Cross Country schooled done plenty of showjumping and riding club actives, she jumps all of our jump for joy fences here and is an ideal teenagers ride or granny’s hack.

That being said she would go and do a nice test tomorrow and is a safe ride. Open to any vet or trainer

  • Fabulous fun, super smart and ready to go out and do all RC/BD/Grassroots/Cotswold Cup

Full Connemara (by a Glencarrig Knight stallion out of a Tulira Roebuck mare), Dexter is a 15h, 6yo (he is a late 2019 foal) absolute unit of a chap. Fabulous fun, super smart and ready to go out and do all RC/BD/Grassroots/Cotswold Cup.

Dexter has been slowly produced, not over jumped or rushed through his education but very sadly he has grown too big and powerful for the small humans that his owner hoped would grow into him!

Sold by myself as an unbroken 3 yo, Dexter came back as a 4 yo to be backed and ridden away then spent his time being loved and handled by kids while his owner took him to clinics, camps etc and did plenty of hacking and riding and leading while he was growing.

He then returned early in his 5 year old year to do a bit more and have his first jumps etc, had a bit more growing and fun time and then has been here with us on full livery since the beginning of September.

Since being with us he has stepped up his schooling and has had regular dressage training with the fabulous Marie Kent showing that he has a super trainable brain and all the fancy footwork to be very competitive BD/Petplans with the right rider.

He has done plenty of XC schooling and show jump/arena eventing outings, always loading, travelling, looking super and really enjoying himself.

Dexter hacks out alone and in company, lives in or out in a group, has a friendly temperament, is very easy to clip and is ready for an experienced, confident rider to get going with and enjoy.

Dexter is a proper leg at each corner chap, takes up the leg well (riders in the pics/vids vary from 5’5 to 6’1) he has 3 rhythmical paces with the canter being particularly balanced and incredibly comfy, he carries himself in a natural frame and rides like a horse not an overgrown pony and to this end he would feel like he has too much oomph under the bonnet for anybody novicey or lacking in confidence and he would feel like too much horse for a small teenager.

He has very much been a part of the yard here and the absolute right home is imperative, someone will have a ton of fun and success with this super chap! Based Wiltshire, SN4 9QF, PLEASE WHATSAPP/CALL ME ON 07888675300. The very best thing to do is to WhatsApp me letting me know what is is you are looking for and then I can tell you honestly if he would be right for you.

Lolly is a fantastic Connie X ISH, purchased to produce nearly a year ago as owners loved her type and her brain for teenager to produce. She is a smart package and has a great pop on her without being sharp or silly. She's a sort very hard to come by and has been a pleasure to produce and is a really fun type.

She has lovely movement and presence, plenty of talent jumping, a great attitude to her work and gives her rider confidence. She's snaffle mouthed and not strong but equally is responsive off the leg and not lazy. I can see her being an excellent grassroots eventer, pony club allrounder, NSEA, mother daughter share or fun horse. She's super to deal with on the ground at home & away, very low maintenance with a kind temperament.

We have produced her slowly, but nothing has phased her and she's wise beyond her years! She's been ridden 90% and produced by a teenager and since being with me has regularly been ridden by an 11yo. This has been perfect though, because she's proved she takes a miss, doesn't get offended and is amateur friendly. She's not been over jumped height wise as her jockey isn't the most confident, but Lolly has grown her confidence masses. She has plenty of scope. Together they have attended:
- XC schooling (ditches, water, steps no issues)
- 2 x sponsored rides
- Training shows (brave with fillers)
- Hunter trials
All of the above she has been foot perfect. Not spooky, hacks alone & in company, well behaved in busy warmups, good on the lorry etc, (3.5 & 26 ton). Not marish, turns out alone or with mares/geldings. Pleasure to have on the yard. She's ready to crack on in any discipline. She'll bring a lot of joy to her new rider.

For sale now due to owner/rider going away in November. Vetted last year and is sound with no vet history, quirks or vices. Otherwise blemish free with excellent feet & legs.

The ultimate allrounder who's been there and done it all. She is a true pony club pony with many wins and placings in show jumping, attended Pc rallies and camp. She's been on fun rides, hunted and is perfect in every way.

Cookie is a forward going but super safe mare who always wants to please. Very careful over a fence and will jump off any stride. Always snaffle mouth an I feel would be best suited to a confident rider who wants to learn the ropes and most of all have fun.

She is easy to do in all ways, loads and travels brilliant, easy to clip ,bath, shoe etc and always polite. She really is a sort hard to find .Can be left for months and no different when brought back into work. She has bred a couple of foals and her full history is known.

No time wasters for this super star as she will only go to the best of homes.

Quinn is a rising 12yo 15HH buckskin Connemara gelding. His sire is Western Boy and Dam is Helens Queen. He is a beautifully put together Connemara with nice paces.

Quinn has done a bit of everything, including fun rides, dressage competitions, hunting and is happy jumping 60/70cm showjumping courses. He enjoys riding club rallies and pole clinics and has been cross country. He has done lots of in hand showing and is currently bare foot, he has great hard feet!

He is a safe and sensible type and is a more leg on ride but would feed off someone that is nervous or novice, so for this reason we are looking for a knowledgeable competent home for Quinn where he can enjoy a varied life.

He isn’t a world beater so wouldn’t suit someone wanting a competitive competition pony, he is a reliable low level allrounder. He loves his hacking, he’s sensible and has seen plenty of traffic, is great in open spaces and goes alone or in company. Quinn loves his hunting and loves hacking for miles with his friends. Quinn is easy to deal with in and out the stable, he’s good to catch, clip, box, travel etc.

For sale on behalf of a client, he’s on sales livery. Genuine reason for sale, and he has been in the same home the last 7 years.

Details:

Ilane Mayflower (stable name - Kiki)

Rising Star: 5 Year old Connemara mare

DOB: 10.04.2019

Height: 15.2 hh

N/N HWSD

It is with great sadness that we need to sell Kiki, who has been an absolute joy for our daughter to ride.

Kiki is a wonderful and good looking pony that would suit a young rider that has completed 'riding school' or an individual who wants to continue Kiki's training and start competing.

Kiki has never had any issues with the heard when being turned out. She is also easy to load and unload. She is very soft, kind and gentle in the stable, whilst at the same time being exciting and dynamic to ride. Our daughter immediately felt the energy when we bought her and Kiki loves to jump. She now trots and canters 'on the bit', rides beautifully and is used to jumping 70 cm, 80 cm and 90 cm - but with some more training is certainly capable of higher.

We have taken Kiki for jumping experience in various locations and she has entered Clear Round and NSEA events at Felbridge, where each time she completed all rounds without knocking over any poles, due to the excellent flatwork and rhythm training she has received. We firmly believe Kiki could progress even further with the right rider, regular training and a good instructor. We constantly receives comments from our daughter's current riding instructor about how well behaved Kiki is and how quickly she learns.

Kiki is also calm whilst hacking and is confident having seen cars, vans, bikes and Scooters.

She has also had experience with cross country as there is a course at our current stables.

Kiki has a fantastic temperament, looks very smart and you'd go a long way to find such a sweet horse who loves learning and is so willing.

Saddle costing £1,500 and rugs included in price.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

  • Buster is rising 4, approximately 15hh
  • An absolute dream to have around
  • Would make a lovely mother/daughter share as he will turn his hoof to anything

Buster has been slowly produced. He hacks alone confidently and gives 100% no matter what is asked of him.

He has been lightly schooled and is a lovely responsive ride.

He has just attended his first clinic, and first time ridden off the yard. He behaved impeccably, standing in line and waiting patiently for his turn, and coming away from the other ponies without hesitation.

Buster has just recently started pole work and small fences, showing promise. He is confident and genuine but low mileage.

He has lovely light, active paces and will do a beautiful test.

He is still young, so no novices. His home is the number one priority.

Buster will excel in anything he does as he is level headed, nothing seems to phase him.

He is up to date with his teeth, physio and vaccinations.

“Queenie” Pennal Brenhines

  • Perfect mother/daughter share
  • Placed 10th at Blair in 2023 in a large C’s and D’s open class
  • Produced 3 foals with “Pennal The Great”

Queenie came to me as a low mileage 7 year old who had produced 3 foals with “Pennal The Great” one of which who competed at HOYS last year (Starloch Princess Bride)

Queenie was placed 10th at Blair in 2023 in a large C’s and D’s open class.

She is a “great fun” pony with a super temperament. She’d make a perfect mother/daughter share.

She’s competed at showing and unaffiliated dressage. She has jumped at home and shows great potential.

This is an extremely sad sale due to ill health.

  • Amazing horse.
Princess (Fearglass Princess) is 4 years old, will be 5 in June, ID X TB mare, currently standing at approximately 15hh but still has growing to do.

She is lightly backed, still a lot of learning left to do but she is a keen and quick learner so in the right hands she will progress very quickly.

Since she is very green, we would like someone who knows what they are doing and has worked with young horses in the past.

She is perfect to load and unload, lead, pick up all four feet, good with farrier, perfect in and out.

You don’t need to catch Princess on the field, she will come to you.
This horse has a unique personality and ability to become a perfect horse and forever friend.

Reason for sale:
We bought Princess for our 12 years old daughter but due to lack of experience with young horses it is very difficult to give her the right training and give her opportunity to show her full potential.

Something a bit different!

Been x country schooled, seen fillers and barrels.

Hunted and proven to be good with hounds. Happily stand at the meet and not get silly.

Still green as young but has a good attitude to his work and is looking for someone to further his education.

Perfect to load, shoe, clip and catch.

Open to any vetting, no vices, vacc to date

Jasper is a smart well put together little horse who will be super fun for a small adult/ competent teen. He’s a forward ride that wouldn’t suit a novice.

His flat work is coming on well, very well established in walk and trot gaining marks of 7 at prelim but still green in his canter, although this is improving each day.

He is low mileage for his age due to time, he has competed a few times 70cm sj, prelim level dressage. He has a lovely pop on him, but needs a capable rider to direct him. He has been to countless pole work/ jumping/ xcountry riding club clinics.

Only for sale due to lack of time and a new horse.

He has been to beach rides, fun rides etc and has behaved impeccably. I think a home where he can go out and have fun would suit him most.

Jasper is fantastic to deal with in all ways on the ground; clip, shoe, bath, load. He would suit someone that wants a best friend to fuss over.

Hacks alone/ in company but needs a confident rider to go away from home. Good in traffic.

I believe he has a lot more to give in the right home.

Home is very important.
