Proven HOYS highland gelding

  • Previously 2nd at Royal International
  • Loves attention
  • Good to hack alone or in company

Reggie needs no introduction, he is one of the most prolific show highlands having qualified for RI several times over the years, HOYS in 2022, too many other wins to list in hand and under saddle

He is beautifully put together, straight moving and clean limbed

He loves to hack, alone or in company and is good with everything he meets. He pops a jump and is snaffle mouthed so has the potential to do a nice dressage test

He loves a cuddle and a fuss, is good to lead, catch, load and travel, clip and shoe, excellent stable manners.

2025 BSPS membership done.
Clipped, fit & ready to go
Whilst he would continue to show at top level, he would also make a lovely all rounder or mother daughter share.

No timewasters, genuine reason for sale, I bought him recently for myself to do British dressage but he is not sharp / forward enough for me / my tiny 4’11 frame

**Top class HOYS show pony**
Sire: Anton Scandal
Dam: Royaloaks Love Affair

Really tough sale of our beloved show pony, Royaloaks Love Scandal (aka. Pearl). We have owned this little mare for the last 2.5 years & have broken and schooled her during this time. She stands at 13.3hh and is rising 5 now. She is ready for an experienced show home to take her to the next level.

She has 3 lovely paces & has the potential to go far. She is still green as she is still young.

Has been previously successful both in hand and ridden in the show ring. She has competed at local shows under saddle as well as the Royal Highland Show last year. In hand she has took several championships, NPS silver medals & competed at HOYS as a 2 year old in the price family supreme in hand championship.

This mare will only go to the best home as she deserves a loving family that can help her reach her full potential. She comes with wardrobe.

  • Preferably a proven open pony but would consider a well started novice
  • Varied, experienced home waiting
  • Must be clean limbed and straight moving
  • Preferably a proven open pony but would consider a well started novice

I am searching for my next ridden show pony, I am very specific about what I am looking for.

Ideally a large breed native but I would consider a Traditional, native coloured or a coloured 15hh SHP.

Mare or gelding, 4 years plus, 13.2 -15hh (but within breed height restrictions)

The perfect pony will have a proven CV at HOYS / RI level but I will consider an outstanding novice with some mileage, must enjoy hacking and be good with all traffic. A bonus if has also done some dressage

Things I like:
- A good front and length of rein
- A neat head with a kind eye
- A pony with good manners that enjoys attention
- A forward, light, supple and snaffle mouthed ride
- A pony that enjoys hacking alone or in company
- A pony that moves nicely off the leg and responds to the seat

Things I don’t like:
- Stable vices
- Bad manners on the ground
- Not standing at the mounting block
- Overly spooky ponies
- Dishing
- Anything that needs lunging before riding or can’t be given a day off
- Anything that has been ridden in draw reins or a bungee
- Anything that needs carrying round the ring or is lazy

What I can offer:
- Very experienced home with daily turnout
- Excellent off road hacking
- lots of variety away from the show ring
- long term home

Please WhatsApp me if you have something that may be suitable, excellent budget waiting

Oaktree Dance After Dark - 7 year old 15.2

Bertie is a fabulous mover with an eye catching presence. We brought Bertie straight from his breeder as the 3 year old and has been brought on slowly, carefully and has never been over shown. He qualified for hoys in his first season under saddle as a 5 year old where he behaved impeccably.

Bertie has mainly contested in the intermediates, gaining top 8 placing at the RI for the last 2 years, he was 5th in 2023.

Last year has been his first season doing the hack classes where he has done extremely well qualify first time out for the RI and contesting in 3 hoys qualifiers with 2 3rds and a win. Then finishing 2nd at Hoys 2024 in the large hacks.

Bertie is proving to be very mannerly and well behaved with the ride judges. Bertie recently attended the BSHA National champs, and was 2nd in the novice hack and 3rd in the Classic Supreme large Hack, where he behaved impeccable in the evening performance.

He is good to hack, box, clip and shoe.

Last year he has qualified for 2 classes at hoys, he would suit a competent teenager wanting to make the step into horse classes. Would love to keep on the yard 5* home is very important to us.

Ruben is a true old fashioned stamp of a Welsh sec C with good bone his been home produced by myself. I only lightly shown him last year and he gained his open HOYS ticket on his 4th attempt.

Ruben hacks out alone or in company Iv taken him on fun rides and started arena eventing after hoys jumping 60-70cm but still is green would would make a top 133 worker with the right person to educate him he has been jumping water trays and brush fences ect.

He doesn’t need a lot of working in his not strong you need more leg, his been ridden by my friends 14yrs daughter that took him out in some junior classes last year where he won and went res.champion

Ruben is a lovely pony and is very versatile whether you want to do hoys flats, workers juniors or just want a pony to have fun

This is a very hard sale which Iv really thought long and hard about.

Elmswood Spring Fling. 122cm LR/FR chestnut gelding by Rotherwood Peter Pan, out of Broadgrove Spring Holiday.

'Woody' needs little introduction - he is a super consistent LR pony, qualified for RIHS in '22, '23 and '24 and HOYS in '22 and '24 (narrowly missed his ticket several times in '23).

Previously produced on the lead by Team Harvey, Woody has been in a wonderful home produced home in 2024 on loan and has not only been successful on the lead rein, but also stepped up and taken their tiny daughter safely off as a First Ridden. They have done a brilliant job getting Woody going off of the lead, qualifying him for the RIHS and narrowly missing his HOYS ticket - I am sure he has a very big future ahead as a FR pony.

He is an absolute sweetheart to do and we are all truly gutted that we now need to find him a new home through absolutely no fault of his own. My daughter has decided to concentrate on her dancing interests.
Can be tried at home with Team.

Home much more important than price for this exceptional, kind genuine pony.

Moseley Red Admiral ( aka Paddy)

Extremely ( premature) sad sale of the most beautiful pony.
Paddy is the easiest pony to own and had the friendliest, happiest outlook on life, with a laid back temperament.
We have sadly only owned Paddy since October after bringing him home after his Hoys appearance.

We have done two novice first ridden shows where he has proved what a star he to step down from junior/open classes and then look after my daughter in her first novice affiliated class at heritage champs.
The next day he stepped back up to do his London qualifier. Where he stood 6th in a very strong class of 17
Paddy also qualified for london 2023

We then gave Paddy a well deserved break from the ring and has just been hacked out. He is a very saintly hack and my daughter takes him out alone. He will have a blast across the stubble if she asks or equally plod along on the buckle.
He is the easiest pony in every way.
Travels alone or in company
Great for the farrier
A really friendly boy.

For sale through absolutely no fault of his own.
My daughter has decided show jumping is her thing and is out most weekends competing.
Whilst Paddy wouldn't mind being a family pony just hacking. We feel he will be wasted and he's far too lovely to be second best.

We have recently taken him out to her first junior show where she took section champ.
Paddy has no experience in fyfr and we feel he's best suited to an established rider.

We are hoping we can find a long term home for Paddy as he deserves this.
He will come with full wardrobe.

Phenomenal child's pony and one of the best on the circuit. Angel by name and Angel by nature. She turns heads wherever she goes and she is not just a pretty face!

Same home since 2018, when her current jockey was just 6 years old and she has made so many dreams come true over the years, including qualifying for HOYS in 2019 on the lead rein, in the first year of owning her, plus RIHS lead rein and first ridden - and the rider was 6 going off lead in big classes on busy show grounds including at RIHS!

Too many wins, Championships and Supremes to mention.

2022 qualified HOYS M and M First Ridden, home produced, and finished 8th.

By 2022 her dressage career had taken off winning BD Quest Regionals in Intro and Prelim - rider aged 9, and finished 3rd at the Quest Nationals.

Not shown since 2022 because we had a full up Section A to concentrate on as the next show pony to move into workers and Angel was campaigned purely for the dressage and has been extremely successful.

3 correct paces, which are rhythmical and consistent outline. Established lateral work and working/competing at Elementary. Multiple references available for this pony including current dressage trainer.

Wins at riding club, pony club dressage as well as BD.

Freestyle Music Prelim scores of 75% affiliated - Megan Trainer music which matches to perfection and will be available with Angel.

One previous owner before us, after she was sold from breeder, and Angel was with them 4 years and she made their dreams come true as well taking them to HOYS x 2.

Angel has been correctly produced, and not over shown or over competed. Angel is at the top of her game and ready to make another child's dreams come true, either in the show ring or dressage.

2024 Highlight was being selected for the Home Nations Youth Dressage Team.

2025 qualified BD Winter Regionals Prelim with 4 scores in excess of 68%.

This is a sale only. If we do not find the right home Angel will continue her BD Youth career in 2025 and will aim for Inter Regionals and Home Nations Teams again.

Please no daydreamers, tyre kickers, photo collectors etc. This is a serious opportunity to buy one of the best ponies on the circuit, fully fit and ready to go. No loans, leases, trials. It is a sale only or she will stay put for another season. Substantial price required for this very special pony.
