Reg sec A Wellesbourne Felicity, by Llanai Tarquin x Crumpwell Felicity.

Lovely winning pony, has won in hand and on lead rein, ready to go on in her education with a good rider for first ridden, she is green but willing off the lead, great to hack out, good in traffic. she has lots of potential to go to the top level, very showy, not naughty just on her toes at shows, she knows her job, needs experienced home to get her full potential.

Easy to do, loads herself, can get attached if kept with just one other pony, but ok if u have a stable to put her in if need to take friend away, or keep her with few others, she's kept with 10 others at the min and isn't a problem at all.

Can take her away no problem. Selling on behalf of owner, needs a new home asap, as no jockey and no time to take her further.

Perfect to go straight to showing or competitions, loves SJ on the lead. Has done it off the lead too.

Trials and vetting encouraged, up to date with everything. Comes with full wardrobe, no sensible offer refused delivery can be arranged.

Badger has been there and done it all, including hunting , pony club, beach rides, showjumping, x country and mounted games and showing, he is a really smart well put together little chap with nice paces and a good jump, he isn’t Spooky with fillers and is more whoa than go!

Badger loves his hacking and is good in traffic and open spaces, and can be led off another horse, he can turn his hoof to anything and will happily step up or down the gears for his jockey .

Up to date with vaccinations , good to shoe ( fronts) , load , travel etc, he has been known to windsuck, but we haven’t witnessed this as he doesn’t do it in the field and our barn stables have nothing low enough to do it on, obviously his price reflects this.

Super sad sale as his jockey has upgraded, he has done his job and given her the confidence to want to move up the levels.

Dream 11.3 Pony - ‘Wildhill Fudge”. A heartbreaking sale of our beloved pony, Fudge.

Fudge is a handsome, eye catching pony. Fudge is an 11 Year old Bright Dun Gelding. Registered Welsh Part Bred

We bought Fudge for our daughter when she was 5 years old. Our daughter was keen to follow her sisters footsteps and start learning to Show Jump. Previously she has been riding a retired racing Shetland since she was 4 and progressed straight onto Fudge without any issues.

Fudge has proved to be an excellent little show jumper. He has qualified for Trailblazers 60cm and 70cm. He has had a number of rosettes with our older daughter when she was 9 and recently our 6 year old has started competing with Fudge gaining a number of rosettes including 1st and 2nd place. He has also competed at NSEA Grass Roots.

As you will see from his photos and videos he is a great little looker and mover so would also excel working hunter, show hunter, first ridden but it’s just not our thing.
Fudge can come down for a younger, less experienced child or equally go up for an older child. He is more than comfortable at jumping 60cm and 70cm, however we are at 40cm and 50cm with our 6 year old. He is happy to trott around a x-pole or 40cm course and likewise fly around a 60cm course in an unbeatable time.

Fudge has been to Pony Club, XC, fun rides. gone along to 3 stay away BS Pony Premier shows, he has done pony rides at our daughters birthday party, Show Jumping competitions and fun shows. Always the centre of attention wherever he goes.

Fudge is the perfect 1.5 pony, or a first ridden for a bold child. He would also be superb as a lead rein.

Fudge really is the dream pony. He is super in every regard.

He is excellent on the ground. Would stand to be groomed and fussed over all day, good to bath, clip, vaccinate, teeth, groom. Our 6 year old can do everything herself with him, load him, bath, tack him up. He is easy to catch every time.

He has never had a single grumpy moment with us…he is a really happy chap. Whinnies whenever he sees you, loves to be made a fuss of. He has never kicked, bitten or napped. He is the most honest, genuine pony.

Fudge is barefoot, he is easy to trim and stands like a statue to be clipped. He is up to date with his vaccinations.

He lives in a stable with us and has restricted grazing to keep him in shape. He lived out with his previous owners. He has no health issues whatsoever. Fudge was vetted when we purchased him and welcome any vetting.

Fudge is great to hack out, alone or with others, will lead or follow. He can be left alone or go out with our other pony. He is very used to large machinery as we live fairly rural. He is great in traffic.

Genuine reason for this sad sale.

We are all incredibly sad at the prospect of finding a new family for this super smart pony, so he will only go to the very best of homes.

Serious Enquiries only please. We have so many photos and videos of Fudge that we can share.

Based in Wiltshire.

Super little pony looking for his new best friend and new home

Easy and kind, loves children and is simple to manage and handle - little Tommy has been ridden and used by young children and is very kind and simple to manage.

He is easy for them to brush and groom, very gentle to lead around and he stands quietly when he is tied on the yard. Tommy has done plenty of hacking and has done a couple of our little shows with a novice.

He is a little star!

On behalf of client - ‘Corndonford Arthur DHP’ aka ‘Boo’. Boo is 5 years old, 12hh Dartmoor pony.

He has been in the same home since 6 months old so full history known. Very sad sale of a much loved pony!

He has been started professionally and is now ready to find a forever best friend to be loved, pampered and have lots of fun with.

He is very easy and straight forward to do in all ways: will stand all day to be groomed/fussed/washed (LOVES a hot shower), good to have feet picked out and to be trimmed, well mannered to lead around - he is the kindest person.

Low mileage due to his age but really do believe he will get better and better to excel either as a little show pony or a general all rounder pony club pony.

Good as gold being ridden round the field for the first time - behaviour and speed didn’t change at all for being in a bigger space. Took him to his first outing and he wasn’t at all phased going straight into an indoor arena by himself with a course of fences up also. Even jumped a little course having only ever jumped him once at home!

Good to hack alone or in company - will happily pootle along behind or will take the lead. Polite to stand and wait to cross a busy road.

Have loads of videos available upon request.

On Instagram see his story highlight https://www.instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE4MDY1NDYyNjA1NTA2ODM4?igsh=MXF2M3lhdngzdXQ1Zg==

The longer he stays with us the more he will do and price will increase to reflect this.

Very well bred beautiful pony. We have owned Mino for 6 years and this is a heartbreaking sale but feel needs to go to another little girl to teach to ride. In the 6 years we have had him my daughter has never fallen off!

He is well schooled and would make lovely dressage pony. Very safe and easy pony, good to hack, 100% in traffic and good in open spaces. My daughter regularly rides him bareback and he has lovely manners. Has done unaffiliated showjumping and is happy to go slowly round cross poles with small jockey. Do not want him to go to a BS home.

Good in pony club rallies, pole work etc.

He is an absolute dream to keep and do.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

After owning this gorgeous little chap for 2 years, he is now looking for a new little person to love him.

Wally is a perfect Lead Rein pony, loves to stand and be pampered, cuddled and fussed over, but our daughter is now wanting to go free rein and unfortunately, he is more ‘go than woah’ therefore more suited to a second pony. He has hacked out free rein, but is too sharp for the first ridden aspect, having said that he has been free rein in an arena with my daughter at lessons and PC Rallies.

During the time we have owned Wally, our daughter has attended Group Riding lessons; Pony Club Rallies and Camps; local Festival Junior Rides; and local Gymkhanas and Shows. They have had huge fun together, picking up an array of rosettes and won trophy’s for Best Turned Out and Lead Rein Showing. Would be ideal for anyone interested in showing as he is gorgeous (and knows it) with lovely paces.

I have led Wally from my horse, although prefers a ‘hooman’ for the ‘cuddle into factor’.

Good to clip, catch, load/travel in trailer, with Vet, Dentist and Farrier. Not been sick or lame, no laminitis. Up to date with vaccinations, worming and teeth.

Very sad sale so no time wasters or dealers and no Loans or LWVTB. Further images and videos available on request.

  • Barbie is a sweet and gentle pony, the smallest child could handle her/ load, wash groom etc
  • As a competition pony she is forward thinking quick off the leg but not a runaway.

She would suit the job of a competitive lead rein pony as she will stay beside the leader and will come back as soon as you walk.

Off the lead she has a big stride and is quick to respond so definitely not a first pony although would do this job if there were older riders too to give her more of a job, she is kind and no badness.

Not at all spooky or silly, has been ridden by my 9 year old in wind and rain and it makes no difference.

She won a x pole league earlier this year and was very good, she has competed up to 1 m, has gone XC and done dressage etc. never looks at any filler etc.

Will only go to a knowledgeable home who can produce her properly.

We wanted her to be a first year first ridden but she is too much pony for that, as an open hunter pony she would be fab.

Adorable 2016 Irish gelding standing at 13.1hh.

This beautiful boy offers a very safe, comfortable and confidence giving ride. Badger is snaffle mouthed, he has been ridden by children and adults, he enjoys hacking when alone and in company, always snaffle mouthed and super easy. He is brilliant with traffic, including farm traffic, doesn’t get hot or silly in busy environments.

Badger has three comfortable paces on the flat, he rides bigger than his size and massively takes up the leg, he would easily be quiet enough for a riding school, he is very forgiving and keen to please.

Jumping wise he has jumped courses at shows, cross country schooled and he’s bold to a fence, not spooky or looky and keen to please, he’s a real genuine type, a super family pony and very much the sort everyone wants, he is trustworthy in every way, happy to be handled and loved by little people too!

Phantom is for sale due to my daughter growing out of her. She's hung on to her for as long as possible!

Phantom (or 'Pants' to her friends) is a much loved family friend. She has done all PC activities and 2 camps.

Phantom has competed up to 65cm and has jumped 85cm at home, with my daughter who is self-confessed not the bravest of riders. She happily does water, ditches, steps etc. She knows lateral work and correct bend, and has competed successfully at dressage and Prix Caprilli.

We are not showing people but Pants has placed at every local show she's entered and could probably do pretty well as she's well put-together and very pretty.

I think she would be suitable as a lead rein pony as nothing phases her and she'll run along next to you as you hold the child's leg and do up-downs etc. She might be too active for a nervous child taking their first steps off-lead-rein as she is forward and responsive - but she's never tanked off and always ridden in snaffle and loose cavesson.

Good to hack, load, shoe (currently shod in front), no vices. I've not actually clipped her as I haven't felt the need but I've run clippers over and she isn't bothered at all. Loads herself and travels perfectly. Does have a couple of very small stable sarcoids which you can't see unless you're looking for them, and don't affect her.

She is a friendly little person and whinnies for us in the field.

11.3 chestnut mare.

Been ridden on and off lead rein with us but unfortunately not a first year first ridden for a child coming of the lead rein yet. May well do that job in the future with a few more miles on the clock.
Happily goes of lead rein with confident child and did some jumping in her previous home.
Would benefit from a home with winter turnout or she is jolly!
Happy to be brushed and lead in and out by a child, has proved easy to catch and handle with us.
She’s had her back and teeth done and is up to date with vaccinations/worming.

Sadly we don’t have room for another lead rein pony.

Loving long term home wanted for this lovely little mare.

Absolutely stunning 5yo, Gelding with all the potential, confirmation and movement to be a top class show pony with HOYS prospects. However, he also has the scope and temperament to be a BS pony or PC pony.

Bought last year, unbroken, Elton has been backed and produced by a child. He was very easy from day one, and is always snaffle mouthed. He’s been to PC rallies, UA SJing competitions jumping 60-70, XC schooling, hacks alone and in company. Schools nicely on the flat.

Elton is a stunning pony with a great temperament and attitude to life. He’s been produced slowly and is now ready for a small child to continue his education and have so much fun on. He isn’t an established pony yet die to age but is safe and genuine.

100% to trim, catch, box and hack.

Please WhatsApp “Elton” for videos.

We've owned Abi since 2020 and she has been home produced for most of that time.

Easily handled by children and has the most amazing temperament.

Please no timewasters as this is absolutely killing me to write.

11.2hh Palamino mare she is 13 years old. Before us she was in a riding stables for six months. She hunted with previous owners.

We have had her nearly four years and she has been a wonderful first pony for my daughter, but she is now far too big for her and wants something more forward going. We have done all pony club activities and shows on her and camps and she is just amazing. I have loads of videos and pictures of her i can send anyone.

She will stand really still when tied up for hours and hours and won’t move when being groomed etc and I never worried about my daughter being out with her on the yard without me from being 7.

She is a true first ridden 99% of the time but can occasionally have a buck, mostly when fresh obviously. This has never bothered us as she is so so good the majority of the time she makes up for those odd moments. She can be a mare with other ponies and bossy. No vices or injuries and lives on fresh air. Never had lammy.

She is good to shoe (fronts only) and clip load etc she doesn’t have any other bad points she is just the most amazing pony we could have ever wished for. We would keep her but she would be wasted and needs to be another child’s princess pony and give them the pleasure she has to us. It will actually break y heart to sell her and I would want to keep in contact with whoever buys her and will be making sure the home is perfect.

She is 9,000 tack can be available with her along with rugs etc at an extra cost, we are based near Melton Mowbray Leicestershire
