Beautiful gelding standing at approx 13.2h he is rising 6, jack is a little love to have around he loves kisses and cuddles.

He is brilliant in traffic, good on the lead rein, has been ridden by children and adults, obviously still young and learning but taking everything in his stride, proving willing with a sensible head on his shoulders.

This pony will be best suited to competent children 8, 9 or 10yrs upwards. On the ridden aspect, he is good on lead rein with tiny tots or off lead rein, is happy doing either job. He is willing and responsive without being overly sensitive if a young rider is a bit wobbly. We have also had a beginner child learn to ride on him. He is good to hack, lunge, games, jump and happily tolerates fancy dress things on his head or body. He will trot or plop over poles or small fences with a little jockey or easily jump bigger fences with an older forward riding jockey.
He has lovely paces, easy canter for a child to learn on. Is more kick than pull although he does respond to the leg but is not sharp off the leg nor sharp to ride. Not spooky at all.
What he is not:- on the ground to handle, he is not a tiny tots pony. He is not a lovey, kissy pony to be pampered and petted by little tiny tots. He has grown to like being groomed more and appreciates kindness but is not affectionate 'kissy' pony, more of a 'lets get on with the work' lad as he is happiest when being ridden and worked. We tie him up to be groomed or on cross ties in the wash room. He has occasionally tanked off on the headcollar to the field or nearest patch of grass. My grand daughter is a tiny tot 4yr old and we have no older children to keep him worked, consequently he has got bored with us and needs a home where he can do more activities, hack and / or jump.
Good to load, trailer, farrier, dentist, washroom, to catch and around farm vehicles, tractors, etc. I have not clipped him but previous owner said he was good to clip.
Has a lovely soft snaffle mouth.

Bramley was brought on quietly over 2024, backed and ridden away solely by a 9yo girl. Over winter he has done lots of Pony Club, a few days hunting and a couple of low key competitions.

His main attribute is his honesty and willingness, he really does not know how to say no - improves every single time you take him out. Jumping courses of 60cm easily, has jumped some bigger natural obstacles XC/hunting.

Hunting he stands at the meet but can get a bit fidgety standing otherwise, lovely when you are going. Although obviously still learning he has been exposed to lots of situations and is a pretty safe conveyance. We see him flourishing in a big family, ridden mainly by gutsy younger child and occasionally brought on by a more established rider. He has seen all mounted games equipment and not batted an eyelid.

Generally nice and easy to handle but does have a very bolshy streak (reacts well to kindness, consistency and firmness), will only be sold to experienced parents.

Fully vaccinated, worm counted and dental to date. Barefoot. No vices. Open to vetting. Dartmoor Hill Pony on a basic passport.

Bramley does have very mild sweet itch, kept clipped and rugged he is pretty low maintenance (spray every other day).

He comes with his sweetitch rug, turnout rug, bridle and Thorowgood PC saddle.

Very sad sale, but with silly season approaching we will have less and less time for him and he deserves to be someones Number 1.

Charlie is a stunning stamp of a pony, with three lovely paces, he turns heads wherever he goes.

He is a true pony club pony and has attended many pc rallies, competitions, pony camp where is he is always impeccably well behaved and last year he qualified for Pony Club Regionals.

We have owned Charlie for the past 3.5 years. He had only been broken the year we purchased him, so he has mainly been produced by my daughter. What a wonderful adventure they have had together, countless rosettes in jumping, XC and their new passion in dressage, where they qualified for the pony club regionals last year and attended their first stay away show where he was hoof perfect and finished 2nd and 6th individually in a large classes.

He would suit a 1.5 / 2nd pony home, we wouldn't really want him to go to a lead rein home as this is not something he would enjoy. He loves a busy and varied life, so we feel we would like him to go to another pony club / competition home. He jumps consistently out at 50 -60cm but certainly has scope for more.

Charlie is a real head turner and we feel he would excel in showing / working hunter, the little bit of showing we have done, he has always been placed and even won two championships.

He is a mother's dream out at pony club camp / rallies / shows, he stands at the trailer, he never gets hot / fizzy.

He is fab out hacking, not fazed by anything, good on the road with traffic and used to tractors. He hacks out happily alone or in company at the front or behind, my daughter rides him around the farm on her own and even does so bareback. He can be led off another horse.

He loads and travels well.

He is happy out with mares or geldings. Ours are out all year at night and in during the day and he does love his stable.

He is a little Welsh pony in his prime with a personality and is not a unicorn and can pull faces by his stable especially around food time.

He is barefoot and never sick or sorry.

He will not go to anyone as he really is a special pony, this is a very sad sale as my daughter is now ready for a step up, so please no time wasters as this is a heart-breaking sale, we would love to stay in contact with his new owners to follow his adventures.

Up to date with teeth, vaccines and farrier.

He will come with tack and rugs.

Had a great season with my 5year old daughter this year winning lots of rosettes and being a little star looking after her every time out.

She’s dealt with on a daily basis by poppy and Ella who are age 5 and 3. They catch her from the field, lead her around the yard, tie her up and can both safely brush and deal with her. Loaded on and off the box by the kids and will stand quietly all day. Very loving temperament.

Poppy has just starting riding her off the lead on her own and hacks down the tracks with me just walking with her. Still a little green off the lead but very willing and genuine. Open to any vetting.

She has an amazing future ahead of her.

A lovely mover on the flat/dressage and so brave XC and in the showjumping ring. Jumped up to 1.10cm. Auto changes. Good to shoe, travel and hack. This pony is a sweetheart to have around the yard and gives it her all in XC and jumping. A very pretty pony too.

A well produced pony to suit a rider looking to showjump at 1m and step up to 1.10cm with a competent rider. A good contender for RDS equitation classes and a machine XC. Looking for a new home as current rider has moved out of 138.

This pony has had a very hard start to his little life.

He's written this to you...

Humans have hurt me and hit me and so now I don't know who I can trust. I do think every one wants to hurt me. It's very worrying.

However my new humans have been nice to me!? I can't believe it. They even give me delicious things to eat. They've done lots of ground work with me and they've backed me professionally. I have a fancy trot and I've been on the roads and nothing about roads worries me, not even lorries, tractors, motorbikes or weird flappy things. I've been over many poles and I load into horse boxes and trailers without a care in the world.
I love my field and my stable and I'm a good boy even when left alone. I don't stress and I'm laid back in general.

However I do still think humans might hurt me, so I need a calm confident human to be my best friend.

In return I'm a super handsome pony (I'm told) who is low maintenance, cheap to keep, very hardy, yet VERY fancy and eye catching.

There are some videos of when I was ridden at the professional yard off lead rein. I also do lead rein rides with the little children but I do need calmness especially at first.

My mummy who i do trust here is now not well and so I really hope someone kind wants me.
