The magnificent GFS Lord of the Dance (2014)

This absolutely heavenly natured and incredibly handsome stallion is regretfully in search of a deserving new home! The gorgeous 'Django' has been living the good life with a friend and alongside his half brother, where he has been enjoying plenty of ridden work and endless pampering in a wonderful home with a family who absolutely adore him.

Circumstances have changed and sadly the time has come for us to consider finally selling him if we can find the perfect home for this special boy.
Standing at 16.3hh and with the most incredible temperament, loving attitude and trustworthy of natures, he enjoys his ridden work but is ideally suited to resume work as a breeding stallion and or a fabulous prospect for someone looking for a leisure horse to enjoy hacking, occasional schooling and just to have a lot of fun with.

His breeding is of incredibly rare Russian Trakehner, Akhal Teke and thoroughbred bloodlines which have both proven jumping and dressage provenance. It is due to his exotic heritage that his coat shines with the mesmeric iridescent sheen.

He has been Graded by the AES with some great comments and he is a proven sire of some spectacular offspring out competing here in the UK and in the USA. He has two sons standing at Stud very successfully. One in the US, GFS Mikado, a young stallion who has been Approved by Oldenburg and who is starting to make his mark both show jumping and in Hunter Jumpers. He also has a spectacular son GFS Man in the Moon standing in Ireland (both of these stallions have their own FB pages for reference).
We are working steadfastly towards retirement and as such, he was on loan as his future is very important to us. He has not been used at stud for the past two years. When we stood him at Public Stud his fee was £600 and he was a popular choice for mare owners, producing some real quality dilute foals (he can also produce the beautiful smoky black) from a variety of mares. We have offspring of his here and have bred numerous foals ourselves from him; they have all been very athletic, intelligent and gentle souls with highly sociable attitudes and proven highly trainable in a variety of disciplines.

Future homes will only be considered who are experienced with stallions and have suitable facilities to offer a stallion a good life with turnout, work and lots of love, because this is a horse who really loves people, attention and is 100% genuine in all ways.

This horse means a lot to us and to all those who know him and his future home and happiness is of paramount importance.

He has lived in an American barn happily with mares and is currently on a mixed private yard. He enjoys turnout daily in his own field. He is vice free, great with the farrier, comes to call and presents no issues to handle. He is an absolute gentleman, gentle and so loving, but he is a stallion and requires the respect and understanding that requires.

GFS Lord of the Dance is currently in Cheshire and will be in Exeter from the second week of February. He really is a remarkable stallion and would be a tremendous addition to a serious breeding program or an ideal friend for anyone looking for a special horse to love and enjoy.

We are told he is a Connemara x Irish draft so he would have very good breeding
 
I’ve had him from four years old  we bought him directly from the breeder in Ireland he grew up beside a beach and spent lots of time riding up and down the beach and done some hunting before we bought him . 
 
Since buying him, we have schooled him  . He has been to a couple of dressage competitions getting good scores. He has been out with a few schooling parties. Cross country and show jumping.
 
He has attended for maybe five training shows  showing his honesty and amazing attitude
 
Nothing bothers him he has the most fantastic temperament and amazing attitude and would be suitable for most riders . He would be ideal for low-level Riding Club. He is amazing to hack. And very good in heavy traffic. 
 
He is also very good to clip , box, shoe, catch, turn out, bring in etc 
 
We had Vet when we bought him and he’s hoping to be vetted again

Classic 2015 Irish gelding standing at 15.2hh, Joey is fun, experienced and very much an easy, safe Allrounder.

He’s hunted, done hunter trials, showjumping and most riding club activities, he’s seen plenty and is easy to do.

He has three straight moving paces on the flat, rides off the voice or the leg and is more woah then go! However if you ask him he will go up the gears.

Joey is extremely bold jumping and doesn’t look at anything, he remains in a lovely rhythm however will jump whatever he’s put at effortlessly and very much gives his rider confidence, he’s no different over coloured fences or rustic and is keen to get it right.

He will hack on the buckle all day long, isn’t bothered by traffic, machinery or busy situations and is quite content going out alone as well as in company.

Joey is an easy, straightforward and uncomplicated chap, an ideal Allrounder / mother daughter share/ granny’s hack or ladies hunter.

Super cool 15.3hh 2018 Irish gelding offering a fun, safe and comfortable ride. Charlie has three very comfortable paces on the flat, always ridden in a snaffle and will ride off your voice or aids.

He is a safe straightforward uncomplicated and easy ride and certainly keen to please and get it right. He will look after a nervous or novice rider. He’s a super stamp of a cob a hard to find model and a nice type. Charlie has hunted, he will jump ditches, rails and hedges, he’s also bold showjumping and isn’t phased by coloured fillers etc, he has done various unaffiliated riding club events and is a sensible chap yet talented.

He will give you plenty of confidence when Jumping and he is happy to jump from a trot or a canter. He will most certainly look after you.

Charlie is super in heavy traffic and he’s just as confident when hacking alone or in company, he doesn’t change in open spaces and he’s consistent in all paces and environments. He’s a kind boy on the ground, very calm and mannerly, charlie is a laid back type and enjoys the company of people.
