Been there done it, All rounder

Ref #: 362296
  • Previously jumped BS and done BE
£4,000
  • Thoroughbred
  • Bay
  • Mare
  • 16 years
  • 15.3 hands
  • Previously jumped BS and done BE

Cici has previously done BE up to 100 and showjumped to newcomers but over the past few years has been enjoying doing lower level showjumping and XC and lots of hacking, which she loves! She is great in open spaces, hacks alone or in company, first or last and is good in all traffic.
She goes in a nice outline on the flat and is very bold with her jumping. Shes not a spooky horse and is snaffle mouthed always. Cici isn’t strong ever, but is a forward buzzy ride and loves to have a job and get on with it!

Good to box, shoe, needs sedation to clip.

Very sad sale as owner now doesn't have the time she deserves with work commitments. She is clipped out, fit and ready to do a job!
Home is very important.

Seen on sales livery near Stow on the Wold.

  • Winning two Novice dressage classes and second in another in our first outings,

  • The most delightful and charming horse, a true professional, good to hack, shoe, clip & load
  • Loves to work and loves getting dressed up and going out and about (he knows how handsome he is!)

Timmy is the most delightful and charming horse, and it breaks my heart to be putting him on the market, but although he is happy having a quieter life, he loves to work and loves getting dressed up and going out and about (he knows how handsome he is!) and whilst I've had so much fun competing with BD with him, my heart lies in eventing.

Timmy retired from his eventing career at the end of season in 2023 and since then continued to teach me a whole new category of riding in dressage.

Winning two Novice classes and second in another in our first outings, giving 100% between the boards, showing he has the scope to go higher, he nearly always led the dressage out eventing.

Unfortunately, Timmy had a field accident in May 2024 and had some time off work, but is now sound and back in work, but university commitments mean I am not able to give him the time he deserves.

Timmy is a stable favourite, beautifully mannered, good to hack, shoe, clip, load and travel (trailer or box)

He really is a one in a million horse, and I would love him to retire with me, but he would be wasted and deserves to go to a home where he can continue working, getting out and about, be it hacking dressage, showing or just having fun.

This is a truly heart-breaking decision and he will only go to a 10* home.

  • Previously evented to Novice and 2*.
Miss Cole 21 BE points. 4 Foundation points.

Cheryl is our perfect horse - that 'One in a Million' non marish mare, so intuitive and kind.

She is well known in local VWH Pony Club circles for not only her amazing achievements, but also her impeccable nature and willingness to please.

Sadly, after over 2 years and A Levels looming, it is time for a new home. Looking for a small livery or ideally a home set up. Asking low five figures.

Cheryl in 2022 with previous U18 owner reached 2* at Bicton stepping up from Novice that season. We joined British Eventing on her BE90 in 2023 & BE100 in 2024, with highlights at Tweseldown and Oxtalls. Wins in 2023/2024 at 110cm at NSEA. We are only her 3rd owners she was beautifully produced by 1st owners in Ireland where she evented from a 5-year-old.

Has some history that we are happy to disclose and this is reflected in our asking price. Our BE local Vet knows her well, says Cheryl will make a great first horse coming off ponies.
Also, a great companion for a more mature rider still looking to get out.

She would be happy to go to a home that exclusively want to show jump. Cheryl really does light up when jumping but is never silly. She has a tidy and careful technique with plenty of scope that has impressed many a coach out at events!

Perfect for someone hoping to learn a lot as she will give a lot in return. She always helps her rider out, knows her job, always needs purpose. Good hacking in company and alone, very consistent even after a week off. Used to all farm machinery etc. Easy to shoe, clip etc. Devoucoux jump & Dr saddles and tack available under separate negotiation. This is really a difficult sale; we wish to find the right experienced home who will enjoy her.

  • Excellent dressage potential for experienced rider looking for an exciting project
  • Rio is sound again and ready to be brought slowly back into work
  • Needs a calm yard and a companion
We bought Rio in May 2024 for £5500. She is a beautiful mare with excellent dressage potential.

In July 2024 she sadly injured her right fore digital flexor tendon whilst in the field. She has been looked after with kindess and care since that day following the vet's expert advice. She was on boxrest until early November. She was then turned out with another horse and given time to heal.

Rio is now sound again. She is ready to be brought slowly back into light work. The current owners are looking for a small fee and willing to accept offers.

Rio needs an experienced rider, she would be a good dressage horse and is better in a field with a companion.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.
