Very sad sale of much loved horse that I’ve now owned for 9 years. A super special all rounder school master.

Super well bred and smart 14yrs 16.2 Bay gelding. Sire being verhulst (with Verdi and quidam dr revel on his side) and Dam being Mevita (with Nimmerdor lines)

3 rhythmical flashy paces. Well schooled up to elementary. Mediums in both his trot and canter are clear and expressive.

Bold and economic jump and will go off any stride. Has never stopped show jumping and his a real confidence giver and school master up to 1.10m. He is strong but not silly with it, genuinely loves it!

He has team chased, which he loved! He lead the team for half of it and then was happy when one of the horses wanted to go ahead. (References for this available) and he is just as bold and brave with cross country and would fill someone with confidence.

I have owned him since a 5 year old. He has never done anything nasty, I’ve never come off him. He absolutely loves having a job and has a massive personality that will be hugely missed. Home is extremely important and will be vetted heavily.

I have been running a yard for the last 8 years and he was our nanny/leader and general confidence giver but I have now given up and have a full time office job. I have tried to juggle him with the job since September but I know he should be out competing and doing more and my circumstances just can't offer that anymore.

He is scopey, brave, and very talented. He has a fantastic work ethic and wants to please in everything he does.

He is working very nicely on the flat. he now understands lateral work. He is nicely forward and off the leg and is ridden in a snaffle for all 3 phases. He can already produce a very smart test and has one of the nicest Canters that I have ever ridden.

He is like a Rolls Royce to ride, he is very light to leg and hand and is extremely easy to hold together, being naturally up hill so please don't let his size put you off. He feels so athletic and balanced. He is off the aids, without been sharp or silly, with a beautiful snaffle mouth. He just effortlessly floats around the arena and turns head wherever he goes!

He loves his showjumping and could easily pure show jump to a high level as well as event. He has now been to lots of show jumping shows producing beautiful clear rounds around 90cm and 1m tracks with masses of scope and talent to go on. He is just about to start jumping affiliated and will quickly get his clear rounds and go up the grades. He takes you nicely to a fence and is scopey and careful when he gets there.

He is ready to start his Eventing career being carefully produced cross country he is good with water and ditches and wants to jump what is in front of him while being very ridable and adjustable to a fence. He will quickly go up the grades and definitely has enough scoop and talent to be a top class horse.

Having produced him slowly and correctly and giving him the time he needs to understand every question asked of him, he has never had a run out or stop to date, which is also a testament to his willing and genuine attitude.

He will be an extremely competitive horse for someone, as he is very talented in all 3 phases. He would be perfect for an amateur / Pro wanting to produce a lovely talented horse up the levels. He is fit and ready to go.

This is a super smart sensible full up 16.1 11 year old, bay warm blood gelding quality gelding with a superb quiet temperament. He is a lovely stamp, being nicely quality without being too heavy. He is a great size for both adults and teenagers to ride, so would make the ideal mother/daughter share. Elm enjoys to jump and makes a good shape over a fence training and jumping 1.10. He is a very honest and genuine type and always tries . He has scope as a show jumper but fantastic hunter will be a fantastic masters horse or hunter schoolmaster he has jumped around 110 cm courses with ease filling his rider with confidence. He happily jumps over coloured fillers without looking at them. He looks after his rider when jumping he jumps in a lovely rhythm and doesn't rush into her jumps or get strong or silly. He would be the ideal type to take to riding club activities and clinics as he loves his work and is uncomplicated and sensible. Elm also enjoys xc and has been schooling on a lots of occasions. He jumps all kinds of fences including ditches and into water. Again he isn’t strong or silly and he waits around very calmly for his turn.

Elm is a super hack; he happily hacks out alone and in company. He is excellent in traffic, he has crossed ‘a’ road roundabout and will patiently wait until it is clear to cross and isn't fazed by lorries passing him etc. He has been used to nanny less experienced horses out in traffic. He is great in open spaces and regularity hacks out in a group of horses and will canter in any order without getting strong or fizzy. He also regularly hacks out alone in open country side and gives a beautiful ride. He has been on long 10 mile hacks and pleasure rides where he has crossed rivers, jumped logs, crossed bridges etc all in a calm manner. He would be a great pleasure horse or a top sport horse for hours of exploring the country side on and the ideal horse to take on horse riding holidays.

Elm has an amazing temperament. He is very quiet to handle with manners to burn. He is also very interactive with his handler and forms a strong one to one bond. If you scratch his neck he grooms you back- he is a very loving lad . He is a very easy lad to have

around, he is excellent in all ways to handle, and is regularity handled safely by children. Elm loves people and will stand for hours to be brushed and pampered. He leads like a dog and isn't fazed by anything. He happily lives in or out and mixes very well with other mares and geldings or equally turns out alone next to others. He is a super lad to have around, a real yard favourite.

Elm must go to a 10* home where he will be loved and cherished. He would make an excellent sport horse and a winner that would make everyone look good and be a winner.
