A handsome, eye-catching boy with flashy paces who absolutely loves to show off. He thrives on having a job to do and enjoys being the centre of attention.

No novices. Stan would suit a competent teenager or small adult who enjoys a forward-going, fun ride and appreciates the typical cheeky Welsh personality.

Stan has successfully competed with me in both ridden and in-hand showing, achieving 2nd at County level and qualifying for the NPS Champs. As a youngster (before being backed/me owning), he was consistently successful in the show ring. Since then, he has competed in WH, SJ & dressage, as well as cross-country schooling, which he absolutely loved.

He has a bold, careful jump and naturally takes you confidently into a fence. I genuinely think he is made to jump! I was pursuing WH but circumstances changed.

On the flat, he has lovely established schooling and eye-catching movement, but he does need a rider who understands how to continue his education.

Stan hacks both alone and in company. He can occasionally be nappy at the beginning of a ride, so he needs a confident rider who won’t be fazed, but once going he’s a pleasure. He’s happily hacked through woods, rivers, open fields, over logs and banks, on busy roads with lorries and buses, and is used to riding with dogs. He rides and leads, is happy to be led, stands for mounting and dismounting, opens gates, and has never bolted. He always comes back to you when asked.

Around the yard, once he knows you Stan is affectionate and loves attention. He’ll happily stand for hours being groomed and fussed over. Like many Welsh ponies, he can pull funny faces over his stable door, especially at dinner time, but it’s all for show! He’s easy to muck out around, change rugs on, and is gentle with my two-year-old son. He is clever though, and if allowed he’ll test his boundaries, so he needs someone who is kind but consistent.

Perfect to clip, vet, load, travel, stands still at shows. Been to stay away shows no bother. Can be left in & out on his own. Currently kept with my other horse but not bothered when he goes. Barefoot with great feet.

Up to date on trimming, vacs, teeth, worming, physio.

Stan had gastric ulcers over 3/4 years ago, which were successfully treated with no recurrence. He also had one stifle injected over three years ago, again with no further issues, which our vet believes was linked to the ulcer episode. Full vet history is available, and any vetting is welcomed.

I’ve owned Stan for the last five years, and this is an incredibly difficult decision made purely due to changing personal circumstances after having my son. Because of this, he hasn’t competed as much over the past two years, but he’s fit, healthy and ready for someone to enjoy him.

Dartmoor Hill Pony with more than a strong resemblance to Connemara.

Suitable for brave and competitive child who wants a fun, fast and capable jumping pony, equally good for small adult. Absolutely not a first pony.

Same home since 2 yr old as a companion for dressage mare but too good to be field ornament so backed and ridden since 4 years old. Ridden by adult (me, tall, veteran) done some RC, XC clinics, a Cotswold Cup ODE, fun rides, but more focus on show jumping and hacking. Not much competing or schooling because she’s way too small for me (I’m 5’9) and I’m not particularly interested in riding a pony, I have my dressage mare.

She’s fast and sharp and clever, jumping is her thing and she loves it. Flat work is fairly bad because I’ve let her go in the jumping direction, it’s what she wants to do.

She’s strong, sometimes spicy, massive fun, very pretty, and a brilliant jumper ready to take the sport seriously. Well behaved and mind on the job in an arena, can be spicy in open spaces in company. Currently at 70/80 cms, she would do more but I am too big for her and too chicken.

She is a classic native, tough and problem free but prone to weight gain and must be on restricted grazing year round. Luckily she loves being in and is easy peasy to look after. She’s used to a quiet family home but she would love to be in a busy competition yard and would find that fun.

All vaccinations/worming/teeth up to date. Clipping, traffic, loading (7.5 tonne), farrier all fine. Currently barefoot with excellent feet but has been hot shod and fine with that too.

Price reduced as new pony found so must sell. Maple is a beautiful pony who is sadly looking for a new home due to being outgrown by her current rider. She’s been in the same home for 18 months with a 14 year old girl where she has thrived and been a great fun all-rounder. She’s done numerous XC arena hires and fun rides. Maple won a 70cm hunter trials and qualified for the championships this September, also done pony club rallies.

Bella is a much-loved, genuine all-round pony and would make a perfect mother/daughter share or family pony.

She is easy to handle in every way, kind-natured, and a pleasure to have on the yard. Bella is snaffle-mouthed, sensible in traffic, and enjoys both hacking and schooling.

She hacks confidently alone or in company, schools nicely on the flat, and has plenty of experience in a variety of activities. Bella has attended camps, rallies, fancy dress events, mini ODEs, and has enjoyed lead rein duties, making her a versatile and experienced pony.

She has most done lead rein/assisted work and jumped out of trot with little people on board!

She loves her jumping and is bold both showjumping and cross-country however dos become more fo a seconding for jumping and not a fist pony jumping when you want to go up a gear, she totally gets lead rein/assisted

Skye is a 10-year-old, 13.2-hand sports cob who’s been a fantastic allrounder for my daughter skye is a bomb proof pony who has excelled in hunting, showjumping up to 90 cm, and cross country, stay away shows and lots of arena hires earning lots of red ribbons !

Recently coming 1st in the 70 and 80 schools show jumping championships 2 weeks ago.

She’s confident hacking alone or in company and enjoys the beach. She’s forward-going, suited to a confident rider.
