He looks after his rider. He hacks alone and in company, he is traffic proof.

Absolutely saintly to clip and loves being pampered. He is good to shoe and a dream to load.

6yr old 15.2hh Warmblood x coloured gelding (chaps registered). Bentley is a joy to be around. He is very loving and easy to handle on the ground.

He works beautifully in walk, trot and canter and absolutely loves to jump. He is happily jumping 85cm courses and 1m single fences (have never pushed for higher because of his age). He is flexible, athletic and light on his feet. He is bold to a fence, if you say go, he’ll go! He is still young so can be green and would benefit from being slowly progressed.

He is straight moving, clean limbed and blemish free. He could be competed in so many different classes, as a coloured, small riding horse, intermediate, working show horse, show jumping, dressage… the list goes on. He is entered at Lincoln 24 and can be sold with the entries if wanted.

Good for the farrier (I have always had him barefoot), dentist and vet. Lives in or out, but does prefer company. Hacks alone or in company, hasn’t been tested on a main road/heavy traffic yet.

Bentley is not a novice ride, or a kids horse. He is a very forward going, keen and excitable. In no way nasty, he just loves his job! He is always snaffle mouthed, he is not strong just forward. He needs a competent rider to fulfil his huge potential.

He has been seen to occasionally weave at feed time, if others are fed before him. Bentley is a perfect traveller, happy to load at home, but on the way home he is stubborn about loading in my 3.5 tonne. He does seem to load better in a trailer, or would possibly improve with someone who could dedicate more time to loading practise. He is a VERY special horse, priced to reflect this, and that we want to pick the perfect home for him.

This boy will only go to a long term, 5* home who can give him all the love he craves. He is only for sale due to an unforeseen vet bill for another horse. Homes will be vetted and he won’t just go to anybody, he is very loved.
