Popstar is a stunning Grey Gelding turning 6 in a couple of months. He has the most gorgeous paces for dressage , is snaffle mouthed and can do flying changes. He picked his flying changes up in 2 sessions. He has an amazing jump, is brave and not spooky. He also loves his hunting. Works sweetly and correctly in three beautiful rhythmic paces, the dressage judges love him.
He is the most lovely boy to have about, stands for hours to be fussed , bathed , clipped and is more like a dog than a pony to have about and comes to be caught.
We have had Popstar for just over a year now and he has been a total gem. I have done lots of arena hires, clinics and lessons and he is not a spooky type and very easy to take away from home.
Very genuine to a fence and will help you out. My 9 year old daughter did some PC rallies on him last year and did some schooling in the fields and he was a total gem with her ( videos attached ) My daughter has 2 other 14.2 ponies that she competes and we are struggling to find the time to ride and take him to places so feel that it isn’t fair for him to be a field ornament. He has the most exciting future ahead of him to do whatever someone wants to do and is ready to go and be a superstar.
He is calm, doesn’t get hot or buzzy and appreciates a balanced , kind rider and due to his age absolutely no novices please. I have done most of his education and he is always trying to please and a very quick learner. He would suit an older child or light adult .
Pops loved his hunting and is great with the hounds and stands politely and doesn’t get buzzy around lots of other horses.
I would like to find an experienced home where he can continue his education and show him the world. I would gladly buy him back In a couple
Of years but right now we just don’t have the time with our other ponies and we only have a trailer so can only take 2 out at a time.
I am 5ft 9 in the videos and 10 stone and he takes me fine.
He is happy living in or out and has done both and he isn’t needy if you take his friend out of the field and leave him on his own , he is quite happy in his own company and isn’t a nervous , anxious type when you take other ponies away.
He loves his hacking and hacks alone or in company and is brilliant. We only have single track roads for miles where we live so he hasn’t seen fast moving traffic but is used to cars , Lorrie’s , tractors etc coming past him slowly and he is mannerly and polite.
He is great to load and often I’m on my own loading him into a trailer and he is very good and stands nicely. He travels well and is a pleasure to take out and about.
Home is the most important thing so I would be slightly negotiable on price as we just love him to bits and it’s a very sad sale.
Please don’t contact until you have watched all of the videos as it gives you a great idea of how he goes.
