This exceptional young horse came to us showing great potential to climb the ladder at BD- having won the BD National Freestyle to Music Championship at Gold level, having also shown great potential winning Young Horse Dressage Championships… but he LOVES jumping!!!

Since coming to us Monty has really found his passion flicking his heels away over both Showjumping and cross country! He has an insane technique, originating from an incredible canter and a clean throwaway behind. He is jumping very convincingly over Discovery and 1.10s, with plenty of ability to find the bigger classes very easy. He will be quick and clean against the clock, and will be a quick thinking and light footed jumper to join any professional team.

I would love to keep Monty to produce up the levels, as I think he will make a very competitive medal contender at International level for a keen Young Rider or Professional. He is quick thinking and brave as a lion cross country, and although low mileage, I expect him to go Novice very easily and imminently this season. My goal would be to produce him up for a 3* at the end of this season.

Monty is wonderful to have and handle in the yard: hacking, traveling etc, and will make into an absolute exceptional horse for a competitive home.
