Barney is a 13.2, 8 year old, New Forest Gelding looking for a new home as daughter has outgrown him and moving onto horses.

He has the heart of a lion and a jump to match. He is very bold and very honest and will go off any stride. He is forward going so does need a confident jockey as he can get a bit strong due to loving his job so not suitable for complete novice.

He has already qualified for Eland Lodge Hunter Trial Championships 2025. He would make the most amazing BSJA pony as he's quick and agile. He's hunted all over the winter and been to riding club camp at Somerford Park.

He's good to clip and shoe and is up to date with vaccinations and teeth. He travels in trailer/lorry. He's happy out in the field on his own or with others. He lives on a farm so is used to heavy machinery and livestock. He can, however, be a bit cheeky on the ground so a knowledgeable home is a must. We are in no rush to sell him and he will be competed by my daughter until we do will only be sold to the PERFECT HOME.
