11yro 15hh approx Cob X skewbald mare.

Tanwen is a fantastic and fun cob X who enjoys whatever is asked of her.
She is a super stamp of a cob, easy to do in the stable with good manners and has a brilliant attitude towards work. She loves jumping and is a real confidence giver particularly in cross country, she is willing and corrects her own stride. Bold to every fence, never stops. She would excel in the hunter trial, hunting or team chase sphere.
She also schools well on the flat and has participated in unaffiliated dressage competitions previously. Tanwen hacks alone and in company and is good with other horses and in traffic. She has been ridden by a variety of riders and through no fault of her own is looking for a loving home where she can be enjoyed as a fun all round / hunting ride. She would be ideal for an ambitious teen/young adult. Tanwen is a generally a forward ride so unsuitable for a complete novice, she has no malice in her at all and is just eager in her work.

She has taken part in one day events previously as well as fun rides, pony club/riding club events and lessons. Tanwen has also hunted with a 14 and 11 year old riders recently, behaving well with the field good with hounds and jumping for fun! She has stayed a weekend in Dartmoor hunting on the moorland in March proving to be sure footed, sensible and well behaved in the field. She stays away from home with no complications, loads easily and travels very well.

She is easily capable of a competitive lifestyle whether it be jumping 70/80/90cm, cross country schooling, pony club/riding club or hunter trials, she has so much to give!

Tanwen is great for the farrier and to load and travel. She catches well from the field and is a hardy type happy to be in or out. A pleasure to have on the yard. Easy to tack up and untack, mount and dismount. Tanwen loves to be groomed and is well behaved with small children and dogs.

Tanwen is looking for a loving home where she will continue to have fun. She doesn’t have to be ridden every day, she is the same after a day or a week, no ridden vices at all.
She has competed successfully and regularly previously photos, results and videos available on request, she is only for sale due to owners pregnancy and young family and lack of time to do her justice. She is currently enjoying regular work and has hunted recently!
