Phoenix is a beautiful skewbald mare who came to us from a private owner, seeking a secure future for her. Affectionately known as a "big baby," she has a sweet, inquisitive nature and, although she can be cautious with new people at first, she’ll eagerly greet you once she’s settled in.

Phoenix once settled in a home could explore being a ridden project with a confident and experienced adult to bring her on.

She loves being groomed and is great with having her feet picked out. We’re working on building her confidence with the farrier, and she’s making great progress, soon expected to be seen unsedated!

Phoenix is adaptable when it comes to living arrangements, whether out in the field or stabled with a companion nearby. She can get a little eager at feed times, so feeding her separately ensures a calm, positive experience for everyone.
