I have owned Dito since an unbacked three year old as I wanted something to keep me riding at university. Unfortunately as I have now graduated and have youngsters coming through for age classes, it’s time for Dito to find a new dance partner.

Dito has been lightly competed and his latest results at elementary are mid to high sixties. He’s super reliable at competitions and very brave (even at his first competition he was giving much older horses a lead over puddles as he is really afraid of nothing). He was Reserve Champion of Ireland in the Prelim as a five year old with scores over 70%.

He has a scopey big walk and canter and a correct trot with a quick hind leg which has attributed him a real knack for piaffe, we have already seen this in his half steps which he finds super easy.

He has been carefully and slowly produced and now as a rising seven year old, is schooling medium/advanced medium at home with a green change.

He loves to hack (alone or in company). Goes up the forest himself with a 10 year old rider on board. Also goes out the fields for a canter very safely and happily.

Dito has a clean vetting (vetted December 2024).
