This is a super smart sensible full up 16.1 11 year old, bay warm blood gelding quality gelding with a superb quiet temperament. He is a lovely stamp, being nicely quality without being too heavy. He is a great size for both adults and teenagers to ride, so would make the ideal mother/daughter share. He is beautifully gelding and very smart, he definitely catches the eye where ever he goes with his striking looks and his honest kind eye. He has excellent conformation, straight movement . He is real quality and would be a real asset to any discipline as he is very correct. He is a lovely alrounder who enjoys his work and has a go at everything; he is always a very happy lad and loves to please.
Elm works nicely in the school; he has 3 correct balanced paces and works in a lovely soft outline. Elm is a very nice moving horse with lovely engaged active paces. He is a comfortable ride with a nice stride. He is a lovely medium speed who is nicely responsive off the aids but not sharp. He works very well between hand and leg and gives a nice feel in the contact. Elm is snaffle mouthed with a lovely soft mouth. He has been ridden by a range of different riders from competent novices to more experienced riders. He has been very correctly produced and has much more to offer in his new home . Elm is safe sensible ride who is very willing and trainable. Elm has great lateral work and does a lovely leg yield each way. He is out and competing jumping xcountry pony club and dressage. He is very trainable, athletic, has good natural paces and works correctly from behind.
Elm enjoys to jump and makes a good shape over a fence training and jumping 1.10. He is a very honest and genuine type and always tries . He has scope as a show jumper but fantastic hunter will be a fantastic masters horse or hunter schoolmaster he has jumped around 110 cm courses with ease filling his rider with confidence. He happily jumps over coloured fillers without looking at them. He looks after his rider when jumping he jumps in a lovely rhythm and doesn't rush into her jumps or get strong or silly. He would be the ideal type to take to riding club activities and clinics as he loves his work and is uncomplicated and sensible. Elm also enjoys xc and has been schooling on a lots of occasions. He jumps all kinds of fences including ditches and into water. Again he isn’t strong or silly and he waits around very calmly for his turn.
Elm is a super hack; he happily hacks out alone and in company. He is excellent in traffic, he has crossed ‘a’ road roundabout and will patiently wait until it is clear to cross and isn't fazed by lorries passing him etc. He has been used to nanny less experienced horses out in traffic. He is great in open spaces and regularity hacks out in a group of horses and will canter in any order without getting strong or fizzy. He also regularly hacks out alone in open country side and gives a beautiful ride. He has been on long 10 mile hacks and pleasure rides where he has crossed rivers, jumped logs, crossed bridges etc all in a calm manner. He would be a great pleasure horse or a top sport horse for hours of exploring the country side on and the ideal horse to take on horse riding holidays.
Elm has an amazing temperament. He is very quiet to handle with manners to burn. He is also very interactive with his handler and forms a strong one to one bond. If you scratch his neck he grooms you back- he is a very loving lad . He is a very easy lad to have
around, he is excellent in all ways to handle, and is regularity handled safely by children. Elm loves people and will stand for hours to be brushed and pampered. He leads like a dog and isn't fazed by anything. He happily lives in or out and mixes very well with other mares and geldings or equally turns out alone next to others. He is a super lad to have around, a real yard favourite.
Elm must go to a 10* home where he will be loved and cherished. He would make an excellent sport horse and a winner that would make everyone look good and be a winner. Elm really does move well and stand out. He would also make a cracking top level hunter /eventer alrounder as he is good at all disciplines. He would also be more than happy as a happy hacker/ pleasure horse as he does love his hacking and exploring. He really has so much to offer someone and will be your best friend.
