The mare came out of racing to us as a show broodmare.  She has had two foals with us and is a brilliant broodmare. 

An amateur or serious stud could not wish for an easier girl to breed from - She is super to cover / scan, very fertile (1 cover has been enough  both times), brilliant to foal, has needed no assistance and good with her offspring. 

She is sound and ride-able and is therefore also a possible Racehorse to Riding Horse / Retrained Racehorse Project for someone or in hand with foal at foot Race horse in hand classes which are ever growing in popularity.

16.2hh 10 year old medium weight chestnut Irish bred Thoroughbred out of Try My Saldy and Forrest Nightingale

Gus lives up to his Lithuanian name meaning polite. Gus is an ex point to pointer but was never placed, reflecting his laid back attitude. He has since been trained using Natural Horsemanship methods and is light as a feather in hand and under saddle

He has a quiet, laid back and trainable character. He is a very gentle and sweet horse who is excellent in traffic and excellent with farriers and trimmers and practically loads on his own. He is also barefoot and has excellent feet. He is a very nannying horse towards children, foals and sick horses.

He is a thinker not a spooker and is very very sensible with no vices or undesirable traits. He does not bolt, buck or rear. Gus has a huge, brave and honest heart. He is Snaffle mouthed and will stop with a quiet whoa wee.

He has started dressage and is excelling and attends regular local shows. He has started jumping too and as an ex point to point has quite a jump but does need his confidence building in this area. He has sparkle and presence enough to compete but will also calmly hack out in a group or alone.

He also does not need riding everyday, he can be left a week unridden without hotting up.

I would prefer an experienced home for Gus and he does benefit from strong leadership.

Will be sold with all brand new tack and every rug imaginable including boots and bandages.

He is being sold through no fault of his own, I am emigrating and cannot afford to take him so please no time wasters.
